15mL, 30mL, & 50mL Centrifuge Tubes
Our 15mL, 30mL, and 50mL centrifuge tubes are made of premium polypropylene for clarity and centrifugal strength. Tubes and caps may be frozen at temperatures as low as -86˚C. The maximum centrifugal force is 12,000×g for the 15mL tubes, 7,000xg for the 30mL and 50mL skirted tubes, and 15,000×g for the conical 50mL tubes*. Caps have a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling. C2605 and C2630 feature a ‘skirted’ bottom that allows the tubes to stand upright without a separate test tube rack. The C2600 series of centrifuge tubes, self-standing or not, are leak-proof to 95 kPa/14psi. For users filling tubes in large quantities, non-sterile bulk options with separately packaged caps are available in 15mL (C2601-B) and 50mL (C2603-B) capacities.

25mL Centrifuge Tubes
MTC Bio’s 25mL tube is the newest addition to our family of screw cap conical tubes. Closing the obvious gap between 15mL and 50mL tubes, they are ideal for any application that requires more than 15mL and less than 50mL, including midipreps, general sample prep, centrifugation, mixing and storage. Aside from the reduction in freight costs, storage space and plastic waste, the 33% reduced height and large diameter design (which is identical to 50mL tubes) allows for faster re-suspension of pellets and 100% recovery of small samples. Concerns about cross-contamination (a frequent result of accidental contact between the pipette and the inner wall of a 15mL tube) are eliminated by the hood-friendly, low profile, wide diameter format. Additionally, the tubes have a 360° support rim, just below the cap. Similar to 1.5mL tubes, this rim allows the tube to fit into most racks, blocks, shields and rotors without requiring adapters. Made of high clarity polypropylene, MTC Bio 25mL conical tubes can withstand up to 17,000×g maximum RCF* and are supplied sterile, certified RNase, DNase and pyrogen free and packed in racks or bags of 25 tubes with screw caps attached.

EmbryoGuard MEA Tested Tubes
MTC Bio is pleased to announce the launch of its new EmbryoGuard™ line of Mouse Embryo Assay (MEA) tested laboratory tubes, available in 5mL, 14mL, 15mL, and 50mL sizes. These tubes are designed for laboratories performing sensitive applications where material-related toxicity and biological compatibility are critical.
EmbryoGuard™ tubes were developed to reduce the risk of material-related interference in embryo-sensitive workflows. They have been tested using established MEA standards to confirm their suitability for delicate embriology procedures.

SureSeal S™ Sterile Microcentrifuge Tubes
MTC Bio’s SureSeal S™ microcentrifuge tubes are designed for a broad range of research applications, including enzyme digests, DNA isolation/purification, centrifugation, incubation, and general sample/reagent storage.
SureSeal S tubes are manufactured under clean room conditions, using only BioClear™ co-polymer, an advanced polypropylene that maximizes clarity, centrifugal strength (tested up to 28,000×g) and the usable temperature range (-90°C to +121°C).
The full-sized tube cap (with frosted marking surface), combined with the unique ring & groove closure, enhances the security of the liquid-tight seal, while minimizing the required locking forces for a more ergonomic opening/closing of the tube caps.

Total-Pure™ Centrifuge Tubes are produced from a proprietary purified polypropylene blend that is certified to be free of trace metal content. Tested via ICP-MS, these tubes are certified to contain less than 1ppm of 38 common trace metals.
In addition to a superior level of purity, TotalPure™ Tubes include a wide array of premium features. These tubes are engineered to withstand a max centrifugation rate of 20,000xg, with this RCF specification printed directly on both the 15mL and 50mL tubes. These tubes also feature Hi-Viz™ graduations that are easily identified at any angle and the printed max-freeze line indicates the maximum allowable volume to be frozen inside the tubes.
